Kevin Friend refs Man City match

Blues have already had the pleasure of the Leicestershire-based official refereeing two of their games so far this season.

The last time Kevin Friend took charge of a Blues game was in our Premier League home match against Tottenham Hotspur on 4th December 2010. Liam Ridgewell was the only Blues player to be shown a yellow card in our 1-1 draw at St Andrews on that occasion.

So far this season Kevin Friend has taken charge of 20 games in which he handed out 62 yellow cards and 4 reds.

Mick McDonough and Simon Beck will be Kevin Friend's assistants for the match at St Andrews on Wednesday evening.
