Blues have already had the pleasure of the Lancashire-based official refereeing one of their games so far this season as Mr Mason was the man-in-the-middle for our opening game of the season against Manchester United. Left-back Gregory Vignal was the only Blues player booked in our 1-0 defeat at Old Trafford back in August.
In total, Lee Mason has taken charge of 15 games so far this season in which he has handed out 42 yellow cards and 3 reds.
Jake Collin and Paul Thompson will be Lee Mason's assistants for the Premier League game at St Andrews on Saturday afternoon.
