Lee Probert Refs Wigan Match

Last updated : 01 December 2009 By Brian Cartlidge

Blues have already had the pleasure of the Gloucestershire-based official refereeing two of their games so far this season.

Mr Probert was the man in the middle for our first home game of the season against Portsmouth when no Blues players were booked in our 1-0 win at St Andrews on 19th August.

He also took charge of our away game against Arsenal on 17th October. Joe Hart and Liam Ridgewell both received a yellow card during our 3-1 defeat at The Emirates Stadium on that occasion.

In total, Lee Probert has taken charge of 11 games so far this season in which he has handed out 40 yellow cards and 2 reds.

Mo Matadar and Gary Stott will be Lee Probert's assistants for the Premier League match at The DW Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
