Mark Clattenburg In The Middle For Fulham Clash

Last updated : 27 December 2004 By Brian Cartlidge

Blues have already had the pleasure of the Northumberland official taking charge of one of their Premier League fixtures this season. Mark Clattenburg was the referee in the 1-0 away defeat at Tottenham Hotspur back on 28th August. Emile Heskey was the only Blues player to be booked at White Hart Lane that day.

Mark Clattenburg was only added to the select group of referees at the beginning of this season and the game at Craven Cottage will be his first time charge of a Fulham Premier League fixture.

In total Mark Clattenburg has refereed 9 Premier League games so far this season in which he has handed out 20 yellow cards and 2 reds.

Mr G Beale and Mr D Richards will be Mark Clattenburgs assistants for the game at Craven Cottage on Tuesday afternoon.
