Blues have already had the pleasure of the Tyne & Wear official refereeing two of their League games so far this season whilst Mr Clattenburg has taken charge of just one Arsenal Premier League game.

The last Blues game in which Mark Clattenburg officiated was in the 3-2 away win against Fulham on 28th December. No Blues players were booked at Craven Cottage on that day.

Prior to the Fulham game, Mark Clattenberg had taken charge of Blues' 1-0 away defeat to Tottenham Hotspur. Emile Heskey was the only Blues player booked on that occasion.

The one and only Arsenal Premier League fixture that Mark Clattenburg has refereed was in their 1-0 away defeat to Bolton Wanderers on 15th January. Robin van Persie the only Gunners player booked on that occasion.

Mr N Bannister and D G Kellett will be Mark Clattenburgs assistants for the game at St Andrew's on Sunday afternoon.
