Blues have had the pleasure of the Tyne & Wear-based offical refereeing three of their games already this season.

Mr Clattenburg took charge of our home match against Wigan Athletic on 25th September when Craig Gardner was shown a straight red card whilst Scott Dann and Roger Johnson were both shown yellow cards in the 0-0 draw at St Andrews.

He also refereed our Premier League away game against Stoke City on 9th November. No Blues players were booked in our 3-2 defeat at The Britannia Stadium on that occasion.

The last time he took charge of a Blues game was in our Premier League home match against Aston Villa on 16th January. Stephen Carr being the only Blues player booked in the 1-1 draw at St Andrews.

In total, Mark Clattenburg has taken charge of 39 games so far this season in which he has handed out 118 yellow cards and 8 reds.

Stephen Child and Simon Beck will be Mark Clattenburg's assistants for the game at White Hart Lane on Sunday afternoon.
