Blues have already had the pleasure of the Tyne & Wear-based offical refereeing one of their games this season as Mr Clattenburg took charge of our home match against Wigan Athletic on 25th September.
Craig Gardner was shown a straight red card whilst Scott Dann and Roger Johnson were both shown yellow cards in the 0-0 draw at St Andres on that occasion. In total, Mark Clattenburg has taken charge of 13 games so far this season in which he has handed out 43 yellow cards and 2 reds.
