The Lancashire-based official has already taken charge of one Blues game so far this season but as not yet refereed a Manchester United fixture during this campaign.

The last Blues game that Mark Halsey took charge of was in our 1-0 home defeat to Charlton Athletic back on 10th September. No Blues players were booked at St Andrew's on that occasion.

In total Mark Halsey has taken charge of 18 League and Cup games so far this season in which he has handed out 26 yellow cards and 4 reds.

Mr Darren Cann and Mr Roger East will be Mark Halsey's assistants for the Carling Cup tie at St Andrew's on Tuesday evening.
