The Lancashire-based official is yet to referee any of Blues' games this season.

The last time Mark Halsey took charge of a Blues match was in our Premier League away defeat against Sunderland on 29th January 2008. Liam Ridgewell and the now departed duo of Olivier Kapo and Rafael Schmitz all picked up a yellow card in our 2-0 defeat at The Stadium Of Light on that occasion.

In total Mark Halsey has taken charge of 34 games this season in which he has handed out 52 yellow cards and 2 red cards.

Mike Bull and Ron Ganfield will be Mark Halsey's assistant's for the live television game at St Andrews on Monday night, 6th April.
