Last updated : 12 February 2010 By Brian Cartlidge

Blues have already had the pleasure of the West Yorkshire-based official refereeing two of their games so far this season.

The last time Martin Atkinson took charge of a Blues match was in our 1-0 away win against Stoke City on 28th December. Lee Bowyer, Stephen Carr and Cameron Jerome were all booked for Blues on that occasion.

Prior to the Stoke game Martin Atkinson had been the man-in-the-middle for our home win game against Sunderland on 24th October. Barry Ferguson, Roger Johnson and Gary McSheffrey were all booked in our 2-1 win at St Andrews on that occasion.

In total, Martin Atkinson has taken charge of 30 games so far this season in which he has handed out 124 yellow cards and 3 reds.

David Richardson and Phil Sharp will be Martin Atkinson's assistants for the match at Pride Park on Saturday afternoon.
