Martin Atkinson Refs Saints Match

Last updated : 04 March 2009 By Brian Cartlidge

Blues are yet to have the pleasure of the West Yorkshire- based official taking charge of any of their games so far this season.

The last time Martin Atkinson did take charge of a Blues match was in our 2-0 Premier League home defeat against Portsmouth on 24th November 2007. Garry McSheffrey, Mehdi Nafti and the now departed Olivier Kapo were the three Blues players booked on that occasion.

In total Martin Atkinson has taken charge of 29 games so far this season in which he has handed out 90 yellow cards and 7 reds.

David Richardson and Mike Mullarky will be Martin Atkinson's assistants for the game at St Andrews on Saturday afternoon.
