Mick Russell Refs Blackpool Match

Last updated : 16 September 2008 By Brian Cartlidge
Blues have not had the pleasure of the Hertfordshire-based official taking charge of any of their games so far this season.

The last time Mick Russell refereed a Blues match was in our 2-0 Football League Championship home win against Barnsley back on 11th November 2006. The now departed Stephen Clemence was the only Blues player booked on that occasion.

In total Mick Russell has taken charge of 6 games so far this season in which he has handed out 14 yellow cards and 2 reds.

E. Rayner and N. Murphy will be Mick Russell's assistants for the game at St Andrews on Saturday aftenoon.
