The last time Blues had the pleasure of the Hertfordshire-based offical refreeing one of their games was way back on 20th September 2008 when he took charge of our Championship home game against Blackpool. No Blues players were booked in our 1-0 defeat at St Andrews on that occasion.
So far this season Mick Russell has taken charge of three matches in which he has handed out five yellow cards and one red. Geoff Law and Michael Murphy will be Mick Russell's assistants for the first ever game to be played between the two sides at St Andrews on Thursday evening.
