Man In The Middle

Blues have already had the pleasure of the North Lincolnshire official refereeing one of their games this season. He was the man in the middle for the Carling Cup 3rd round defeat against Fulham at St Andrew's last month. No Blues players were booked that night.

The last time Neale Barry took charge of a Blues Premiership fixture was in the 0-0 draw against Chelsea at St Andrew's on 14th October 2003. Blues had two players booked that night, Christophe Dugarry and Aliou Cisse, neither of whom are still at the club.

Neale Barry has refereed one Premiership fixture involving Blackburn Rovers this season. He was in charge of their 3-0 defeat at Arsenal back in August. No Rovers players were cautioned during that game.

In total Neale Barry has refereed seven Premiership games so far this season in which he has handed out 15 yellow cards and 1 red.

Mr J Holbrook and Mr T Massey will be Neale Barry's assistants for the game at Ewood Park on Sunday afternoon.
