Peter Walton refs Arsenal match

Blues are yet to have the pleasure of the Northamptonshire-based official refereeing any of their games this season.

The last time Peter Walton took charge of a Blues fixture was in our Premier League home game against Burnley on 5th May 2010. Stuart Parnaby and the now departed Gregory Vignal were both booked for Blues in our 2-1 win at St Andrews on that occasion.

In total, Peter Walton has taken charge of of 13 games so far this season in which he has handed out 41 yellow cards and 5 reds.

Mike Cairns and Ron Ganfield will be Peter Walton's assistants for the game at St Andrews on Saturday, 1st January which is being shown live on ESPN (kick-off 5:30pm).
