Blues have already had the pleasure of the Northamptonshire-based official refereeing two of their games so far this season.

The last time Peter Walton took charge of a Blues fixture was in our away match against Liverpool on 9th November. Lee Carsley and James McFadden were both booked in our 2-2 draw at Anfield on that occasion.

Prior to the Liverpool game, Peter Walton had also taken charge of our away game against Tottenham on 29th August when Steven Carr and Garry O'Connor both picked up a caution in our 2-1 defeat at White Hart Lane

In total, Peter Walton has taken charge of 14 games so far this season in which he has handed out 30 yellow cards and 2 reds.

Bob Pollock and Peter Kirkup will be Peter Walton's assistants for the Premier League game at St Andrews on Boxing Day.
