Peter Walton Refs Liverpool Game

Blues have already had the pleasure of the Northamptonshire-based official refereeing two of their games so far this season, neither of which have resulted in a Blues victory.

The last time Peter Walton took charge of a Blues game was in our 1-1 home draw against Derby County on 2nd February. Seb Larsson was the only Blues player booked that day.

Prior to the Derby fixture Peter Walton had been the man in the middle for our away defeat against Manchester United on New Years Day. Medhi Nafti, Franck Queudrue, Liam Ridgewell and the now departed Wilson Palacios all picked up cautions during the 1-0 defeat at Old Trafford.

In total Peter Walton has taken charge of 41 games so far this season in which he has handed out 123 yellow cards and 5 reds.

G Beale and P Norman will be Peter Walton's assistants for the game against Liverpool at St Andrews on Saturday afternoon.
