Phil Dowd Refs Arsenal Game

Blues have already had the pleasure of the Staffordshire-based official refereeing two of their games this season.

The last time Phil Dowd refereed a Blues game was in our 3-2 away win against Tottenham on 2nd December. Rafael Schmitz was the only Blues player cautioned on that occasion.

Prior to the Spurs game, Phil Dowd had taken charge of our 1-0 home win against Bolton on 15th September. Liam Ridgewell being the only Blues player cautioned during that match.

In total Phil Dowd has taken charge of 25 games so far this season in which he has handed out 71 yellow cards and 9 reds.

C Sarginson and A Garratt will be Phil Dowd's assistants for the game at The Emirates on Saturday afternoon.
