Blues have already had the pleasure of the Staffordshire based official refereeing two of their games this season whilst Mr Dowd has taken charge of just the one Baggies fixture during this campaign.

The last time Phil Dowd took charge of a Blues game was in our 2-0 away defeat to Tottenham back on 26th December. Muzzy Izzet was sent off for two bookable offences at White Hart Lane on that day.

Phil Dowd was also in charge of our 3-0 home defeat to Middlesbrough on 28th August. No Blues players were booked that night.

The last time Phil Dowd took charge of a West Brom game was in their 1-0 home defeat to Sunderland on 21st January. No Baggies players were booked on that occasion.

In total Phil Dowd has taken charge of 18 Premier League games this season in which he has handed out 73 yellow cards and 4 reds.

Mr D Bryan and Mr K Pike will be Phil Dowd's assistants for the game at St Andrew's on Saturday lunchtime with the 4th Official being Rob Styles.
