Phil Dowd Refs Hull City Game

Blues have not had the pleasure of the Staffordshire-based official refereeing any of their games this season although he did take charge of two of our games last season.

The last time Mr Dowd was in charge of a Blues match was in our final Football League Championship home game of last season against Preston North End on 25th April. Lee Bowyer was shown a red card in that match whilst Franck Queudrue and the now departed Radhi Jaidi were both booked in our 2-1 defeat at St Andrews on that day.

Prior to the Preston match, Phil Dowd had been the man in the middle for our away fixture against Nottingham Forest on 8th November 2008. Cameron Jerome and the now departed trio of Radhi Jaidi, Nigel Quashie and Kemy Agustein all picked up yellow cards in the 1-1 draw at The City Ground.

In total Phil Dowd has taken charge of 4 games so far this season in which he has handed out 16 yellow cards and no reds.

Scott Ledger and Shaun Proctor-Green will be Phil Dowd's assistants for the game at the KC Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
