Phil Dowd refs Sunderland match

Last updated : 12 April 2011 By Brian Cartlidge

Blues have already had the pleasure of the Staffordshire-based official refereeing three of their games so far this season.

The last time Phil Dowd took charge of a Blues match was in our FA Cup sixth round home game against Bolton Wanderers on 12th March. No Blues players were booked in our 3-2 defeat at St Andrews on that occasion.

In total, Phil Dowd has taken charge of 33 games so far this season in which he has handed out 120 yellow cards and 10 reds.

Glenn Turner and Ceri Richards will be Phil Dowds' assistants for the game at St Andrews on Saturday afternoon.
