Ref Change For Sunderland Match

By Brian Cartlidge

The match at St Andrews had originally been allocated to Chris Foy.

Blues have not had the pleasure of the West Yorkshire-based official refereeing any of their matches so far this season.

The last time Martin Atkinson took charge of a Blues match was in our Football League Championship home game against Southampton on 7th March this year. No Blues players were booked in our 1-0 win at St Andrews on that occasion.

In total Martin Atkinson has taken charge of 11 games so far this season in which he has handed out 52 yellow cards but no reds.

Bob Pollock and Ceri Richards will be Martin Atkinson's assistants for the Premier League match at St Andrews on Saturday afternoon.
