Rob Styles Refs Arsenal Game

Blues have already had the pleasure of the Hampshire-based official refereeing three of their games this season whilst Rob Styles has taken charge of two Arsenal matches so far during this campaign.

The last time Rob Styles refereed a Blues game was as recently as last weekend in our 1-1 FA Cup 4th Round draw at Reading. Olivier Tebily was the only Blues player booked at The Madejski Stadium on that day.

Rob Styles also refereed our 1-0 home defeat against Everton back on 29th October 2005. No Blues players were booked during that game.

He had also taken charge of our opening game of the season at Fulham back in August 2005 when Stephen Clemence and Matthew Upson both picked up yellow cards during the 0-0 draw at Craven Cottage.

The last Arsenal game that Rob Styles refereed was in their 7-0 home win against Middlesbrough on 14th January. Lauren was the only Gunners player booked at Highbury on that occasion.

In total Rob Styles has taken charge of 29 English League and Cup games so far this season in which he has handed out 97 yellow cards and 2 reds.

Mr M Cairns and Mr C Sarginson will be Rob Styles' assistants for the game at St Andrew's on Saturday afternoon.
