Blues have already had the pleasure of the Hampshire-based official refereeing three of their games this season whilst Rob Styles has taken charge of two Liverpool matches so far during this campaign.

The last time Rob Styles refereed a Blues game was in our 1-1 FA Cup 4th Round draw at Reading on 28th January. Olivier Tebily was the only Blues player booked at The Madejski Stadium on that day.

Rob Styles had also refereed our 1-0 Premier League home defeat against Everton back on 29th October 2005. No Blues players were booked during that game.

He had also taken charge of our opening League game of the season at Fulham back in August 2005 when Stephen Clemence and Matthew Upson both picked up yellow cards during the 0-0 draw at Craven Cottage.

The last time Rob Styles took charge of a Liverpool game was in their 1-0 away win against Wigan Athletic in a League game at the JJB Stadium back on 11th February. Stephane Henchoz was the only Liverpool player booked on that occasion.

In total Styles has taken charge of 35 English League and Cup game so far this season in which he has handed out 116 yellow cards and 3 reds.

Mr R W Martin and Mr M Tingey will be Rob Styles' assistants with Phil Dowd being the 4th official for the quarter final tie at St Andrew's on Tuesday night.
