Rob Styles Refs Reading Game

Last updated : 24 January 2006 By Brian Cartlidge

Blues have already had the pleasure of the Hampshire-based official taking charge of two of their games this season whilst Mr Styles has refereed just the one Reading fixture during this campaign.

The last time Rob Styles refereed a Blues game was in our 1-0 home defeat against Everton back on 29th October 2005. No Blues players were booked during that game.

Rob Styles had also taken charge of our opening game of the season at Fulham back in August last year when Stephen Clemence and Matthew Upson both picked up yellow cards during the 0-0 draw at Craven Cottage.

The last time Rob Styles took charge of a Reading game was in their 2-0 win against Sheffield United on 25th October 2005. Striker Dave Kitson was the only Royals player booked at The Madejski Stadium on that occasion.

In total Rob Styles has taken charge of 27 English League and Cup games so far this season in which he has handed out 90 yellow cards and 2 reds.

Mr D Richards and Mr B Baker will be Rob Styles' assistants for the match at The Madejski Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
