Steve Dunn Refs West Brom Game

Last updated : 28 February 2005 By Brian Cartlidge

Blues have already had the pleasure of Steve Dunn refereeing one of their fixtures this season whilst the Gloucestershire based official has also taken charge of two Baggies fixtures.

The last time Steve Dunn took charge of a Blues fixture was back on 12th December and the memorable 2-1 win against the Villa at Villa Park. Four Blues players went into Mr Dunn's notebook that day - Darren Carter, Damien Johnson, David Dunn and Oliveir Tebily.

Steve Dunns last game in charge of a West Brom fixture was for their 2-1 home defeat to Middlesbrough back on 14th November. No Baggies players were booked on that occasion.

Prior to the Boro game, Steve Dunn had been the referee in charge of West Broms 3-0 defeat to Liverpool on 11th September. Once again no Baggies players were booked during that game at Anfield.

In total then, Steve Dunn has been in charge of 53 league and cup games so far this season in which he has handed out 54 yellow cards and 2 reds. Just the 2 penalty kicks have been awarded in these games!!

Mr A Green and Mr M Short will be Steve Dunn's assistants for the game at The Hawthorns on Sunday lunchtime.
