Last updated : 07 March 2008 By Brian Cartlidge

Blues have already had the pleasure of the Somerset-based official taking charge of two of their games already this season.

The last time Steve Tanner refereed a Blues game was in our FA Cup 3rd Round defeat at Huddersfield on 5th January. Radhi Jaidi, Liam Ridgewell and Franck Queudrue were all booked during the 2-1 defeat at The Galpharm Stadium on that occasion.

Prior to the Huddersfield debacle, Steve Tanner had taken charge of our 3-2 home win against Wigan Athletic on 27th October 2007. No Blues players were booked on that occasion.

In total, Steve Tanner has refereed 27 games so far this season in which he has handed out 88 yellow cards and 2 reds.

N Bannister and M Tingey will be Steve Tanners' assistants for the game at Fratton Park on Wednesday evening.
