Steve Tanner Refs Seasiders Match

Last updated : 23 January 2009 By Brian Cartlidge

Steve Tanner had been scheduled to referee the game on it's original date of 10th January but postponed the match because of a fozen pitch at Bloomfield Road.

Blues have not yet had the pleasure of the Somerset-based official taking charge of any of their games so far this season.

The last time Steve Tanner refereed a Blues match was in our 4-2 Premier League away defeat against Portsmouth back on 13th March 2008.

The now departed Mauro Zarate was the only Blues player booked at Fratton Pak on that occasion [match report].

In total Steve Tanner has taken charge of 19 games so far this season in which he has handed out 55 yellow cards and 4 reds.

A.Halliday and J.Stokes will be Steve Tanner's assistants for the game at Bloomfield Road on Saturday aftenoon.
