Last updated : 04 September 2006 By Brian Cartlidge

Blues did have the pleasure of the Berkshire-based official taking charge of one of their games last season whilst Mr Kettle also took charge of one Hull City fixture too.

The Blues game in which Trevor Ketle refereed was in the 1-0 away win against Scunthorpe United in the Carling Cup 2nd Round tie almost 12 months ago on 20th September 2005. Walter Pandiani and Matthew Upson were both booked during Blues' 2-0 win at Glanford Park.

The last time Trevor Kettle refereed a Hull City game was in their Championship game against Crewe on 18th March this year. Mark Noble was the only Tigers player booked during their 1-0 win at the KC Stadium.

In total Trevor Kettle has refereed in 4 matches so far this season in which he has handed out 10 yellow cards and 2 reds.

Mr I Smedley and Mr R Steans will be Trevor Kettle's assistants for the game at St Andrew's on Saturday afternoon.
