Uriah Rennie Refs Derby Game

Neither The Blues or The Rams have had the pleasure of the South Yorkshire-based official taking charge of any of their matches so far this season although Uriah Rennie did take charge of five Blues fixtures last season.

The last time Uriah Rennie took charge of a Blues game was in our 2-1 Premier League home win against Blackburn Rovers on 19th April this year. Kenny Cunningham, Damien Johnson, Julian Gray, Chris Sutton and Olivier Tebily were all booked during the game at St Andrew's.

Uriah Rennie also took charge of our 2-0 home defeat against Tottenham on 18th March. Kenny Cunningham and Nicky Butt were both booked during that game.

Prior to the Tottenham game, Uriah Rennie had refereed in our 1-1 away draw against Liverpool back on 1st February. Damien Johnson was shown a straight red card at Anfield that night.

Uriah Rennie had also refereed our 1-0 home win against Fulham back on 10th December. No Blues players were booked during that game and he had also taken charge of our 1-0 away win at Sunderland on 26th November and no Blues players were booked on that day either.

In total, Uriah Rennie has refereed in 11 games so far this season in which he has handed out 36 yellow cards and 2 reds.

Mr M Cairns and Mr S Procter Green will be Uriah Rennie's assistants for the game at Pride Park on Saturday afternoon.
