Blues Res 3 - Blackburn Res 0

Jovan Kirovski
Blues dominated the early play and although the first half ended goalless, Craig Fagan, Jovan Kiroski (twice) and Michael Johnson all went close to opening the scoring.

Kirovski finally found the net 20 minutes into the second period - curling a free-kick over the Rovers defensive wall from about 20 yards out.

Four minutes later Polish international Piotr Swierczewski doubled Blues' advantage. Collecting a good through ball from Ferdinand Coly, his first shot was cleared, but he reacted quickest to the rebound and scored from the edge of the box with a right foot shot.

Kirovski scored his second of the night and Blues' third, two minutes from the end. Darren Carter's left-wing cross caused panic in the Blackburn defence and the Blues striker found himself free in the box to calmly place a shot past the Rovers keeper.

With three wins, a draw, and just one defeat Keith Bertschin's side have now taken ten points from their last five games.
