Jovan Kirovski
Only poor finishing by Blues prevented a more emphatic victory, Darren Carter, Stern John and Craig Fagan had chances before John beat the keeper and a defender on the line to finally put Blues ahead on 40 minutes.

Two quick fire goals followed before the half time interval. John headed home his, and Blues', second of the night and Craig Fagan, back in a blues shirt for the first time since returning from Bristol City on loan, headed home Blues third just before the break.

John should have completed his hat-trick 8 minutes into the second half, but shot high and wide past Bantams keeper Bennett from just inside the area.

On 70 minutes American international Jovan Kirovski scored the goal of the night, swivelling and hitting into the top corner from just outside the area.

Blues had chances to increase their four goal lead but return to the Midlands happy at gaining their first victory since the win over Liverpool back in November - could that be an omen for Sunday!
