Taylor - Sound when called upon but kicking woeful again.
Melchiot - Superb - especially first half.
Lazaridis - Went walk-abouts on occasions but did ok.
Cunningham - Commanding, after a shaky first ten minutes.
Upson - Ditto Cunningham and scored at last. Best game this season??
Pennant - Absolutely superb and a great goal.
Johnson - Industrious, as always.
Izzet - Tenacious. Protected his back four well.
Jarosik- Good first half, not involved much second half.
Heskey - Worked hard again but should be puting away the chances he's getting.
Sutton - Excellent home debut.
Subs:
David Dunn (for Jarosik, 75) - Lively and a great last minute goal.
Forssell (for Heskey, 78) - Looks like he's getting back to full fitness.
Kilkenny (for Cunningham, 81) - Did ok.
