Last updated : 21 March 2005 By Richard Barker

Taylor - One of his best games in a while.

Melchiot - Always comfortable and excellent showboating late on.

Clapham - Solid as he has been for last two months.

Upson - Best game for a long, long time.

Cunningham - Not quick enough against Moore, but far too clever.

Johnson - Continued his own good form, and always up for the battle.

Lazaridis
- Troubled Samuel all afternoon.

Clemence - Great dogged display epitomised by tackle and subsequent injury.

Carter - Looked a bit rusty but did ok.

Heskey - Excellent again.

Pandiani - Not at his best, but worked tirelessly to the point of exhaustion.

SUBS:
Nafti - Put himself about.

Gray - Goal will make a huge difference with fans.

Morrison - Didn't do much in the minute he was on the pitch, but celebrated Gray's goal well.
