- Little to do but ok when called upon

Melchiot - Good all-round performance as always it seems.

Lazaridis - Struggled early on but got better.

Upson - Not one of his better games.

Cunningham - Solid.

Pennant - A constant threat throughout and some superb crossing.

Nafti - Good first half but gave the ball away cheaply at the beginning of the second.

Johnson - Combative.

Anderton - Started well but lasted only a short while

Pandiani - Always a threat.

Heskey - Led the line well and a superb winning goal.

- Superb performance.

Blake - . Changed things and a well taken goal

Morrison - No time to make an impact and a silly booking.
