Player Ratings
Blackburn

Taylor - Wasn't troubled too much, but when he was, he coped well.

Kenna - Was doing ok at right back, and was magnificent at centre back.

Lazaridis - Looks a threat offensively from left back, but worrying injury.

Upson - Around 8 weeks out could be a huge blow.

Cunningham - Sound, as ever.

Johnson - Another reliable performance in all sorts of positions - again!

Dunn - Excellent - can be forgiven certain tricks not coming off when he is creating as much as he did. Ran the game.

Clemence - Good goal, and then coped very well out of position at left back.

Savage - Quieter than usual, but relished battle with Tugay.

Morrison - Very good all-round display, but could have had a hat-trick.

Forssell - Magnificent in every respect - before long every club in Europe will be queuing up for him.

SUBS:
Hughes - Took opportunity very well with a sublime midfield performance.

Carter - Did very well in a tenacious midfield battle.

Kirovski - Late introduction to game, but got involved.
