Player Ratings v Coventry

Last updated : 01 April 2007 By Brian Cartlidge
Doyle - Hardly had a thing to do for the whole 90 minutes.

Kelly - Good defensive performance and excellent distribution for the second goal.

Jaidi - Good in the air but clearly has trouble against strikers with a bit of pace. An excellent headed goal however.

Martin Taylor - Excellent. A big improvement on recent games.

Sadler - Got forward on occasions and linked well with Vine.

Larsson - Played really well up and down the right flank with some superb crossing to boot.

Clemence - Sluggish on occasions. Not as good as he has been recently.

Johnson - Another good work-man-like performance. Should have got on the scoresheet again.

Vine - Played well considering he was being played out of position. Unlucky not to have scored with one superb shot in the first half.

Jerome - Clearly out of sorts and, as I've said before, must improve on his first touch.

Bendtner - Outstanding - best player on the pitch by a country mile.

Subs:

Campbell (for Jerome, 62 mins) - Sealed the three points by scoring twice - you can't ask for much more than that!

Nafti (for Clemence, 71 mins) - Great cross for the final goal.

Muamba (for Bendtner, 83 mins) - Game was over by the time he got on.

Subs not used: Maik Taylor, Danns.

*Star Man* - Nicklas Bendtner
