Taylor - Some good saves, but still not convincing at times.

Melchiot - Looked a little complacent at times, but ok.

Lazaridis - Was having a good game until injury.

Upson - Didn't have things all his own way.

Cunningham - Barely broke a sweat, but still so commanding.

Anderton - A good all-round display.

Gray - Mixed, perhaps needs a goal for confidence.

Clemence - Struggled with his distribution.

Carter - Excellent performance.

Heskey - A real handful yet again.

Morrison - Great unselfish play.

SUBS:

Clapham - Always comfortable.

Blake - Showed some decent touches.

Tebily - Fine.
