Taylor
- Absolutely world-class display in all aspects of his game.

Tebily - Struggled on the defensive side of things, and never got forward anywhere near as much as he'd like.

Kenna - I could have told you Shaun Wright-Phillips would tear him apart. He did.

Purse - See every comment I ever write about him: Defensively fine. Passing = appalling.

Cunningham - Excellent. Won everything in the air against Fowler and Macken, and organised things superbly.

Johnson - A decent all-round performance, capped by awful finish. (Damien Johnson Finishing Count: 6 bad misses in the past 5 games)

Lazaridis - Did reasonably well in midfield, and coped with Wright-Phillips better than Kenna did when at left-back.

Hughes - Didn't look up for it today, ducked out of challenges and unwilling to take responsibility with the ball.

Savage - Impressive display, and much needed aggression and general nuisance-making in midfield.

John - Earned himself a chance with last weeks goal, and failed miserably to take his chance.

Forssell - Isolated up front through lack of service and support, but tried his best.

SUBS:

Dugarry - Needs games, but glimpses of the class that everyone knows he still has. Still has a big part to play this season.

Clapham - Looked ropey when he first game on in midfield, but settled and created Blues' best chance.

Morrison - Awful initially, but again he settled and looked ok, but nothing more than that.

Subs not Used: Bennett, Upson.
