Player Ratings v Reading

Last updated : 29 January 2007 By Brian Cartlidge

Maik Taylor - Hesitant throughout the whole game.

N'Gotty - Playing better at right-back than he did at centre-back.

Upson - Struggled at times and clearly wound up by Kitson.

Martin Taylor - Well taken goal but defended poorly for Reading's first two goals.

Sadler - Did ok defensively but not very well going forward.

Larsson - Worked hard and scored arguably the best goal of the game, albeit too late for a comeback.

Johnson - Anonymous far too often.

Muamba - Battled well.

McSheffrey - Extremely quiet by his standards.

Jerome - Poor first half when he could have scored, better second half when he should have scored.

Campbell - Should have got on the scoresheet.

Subs:

Bendtner (for Campbell, 68 mins) - Hardly had a touch on the floor as we aimed aimless high balls in his direction..

Danns (for Muamba 80 mins) - Made little impact and CAN'T pass the ball.

Kilkenny (for N'Gotty 80 mins) - Ditto Danns, but CAN pass the ball.

Subs not used: Doyle, Nafti.

*Star Man* - Bruno N'gotty
