Player Ratings

Taylor - I'm bored of writing that he's too hesitant, but he's too hesitant.

Melchiot - Good performance and won the penalty.

Clapham - Another good display, capped off by a stunning shot.

Upson - Not at his best, but coped well.

Cunningham - Again, not totally on his game, but good enough.

Pennant - An excellent display until he tired, could be a great signing.

Gray - In and out of the game, but hopefully gaining confidence from run in the team.

Johnson - Did ok in a slightly unfamiliar position.

Clemence - Also did a reasonable job.

Blake - A very good performance, full of zest.

Pandiani - Confident in shooting, and a fine finish - another good signing.

SUBS:
Carter - Did alright.

Tebily - Never let Camara out of his sights.

Morrison - Played 30 seconds and sprinted off at the end.
