Player Ratings
Birmingham

Taylor
- Not many shots to save, and decent handling and kicking.

Kenna - Exposed by Arca, but was hardly given the best assistance.

Upson - Looks comfortable defensively at left-back, but doesn't have the
right midset to play there regularly yet in the more attacking part of the
role.

Purse - Seemed to get dragged back down to First Division standards after
his recent excellent form.

Cunningham - Not at his best, and a booking for a uncharacteristic lunge.

Johnson - Poorest performance of the season, and just didn't look up for it
at all, along with giving the ball away for the equaliser.

Lazaridis - Nowhere near as effective as against Everton, but at least was
still an outlet.

Hughes - See Purse.

Savage - Clearly struggling with his injury, and nowhere near his best.

Forssell - Tried hard, but perhaps needed to stick to basics a little more -
good goal though.

Morrison - Worked fairly hard, but will never be a top class marksman -
misses far too many genuinely good chances.

SUBS:

Dugarry - Arrogant for 10 minutes, petulant for another 10 minutes, pretty
good for the other 10 minutes.

Cisse - Looked good for 2 minutes, then he went barmy at the referee, and
there was only going to be one outcome.

Carter - Literally on the pitch for 2 minutes. Didn't get sent off or give
the ball away though.

Subs Not Used: Bennett, John.
