Player Ratings

Taylor
- Nervy again.

Tebily - Typical display really, good enough but still looks like a disaster waiting to happen.

Lazaridis - Not overly worked, but did ok.

Cunningham - Another excellent performance.

Upson - Strong and composed.

Johnson - Fine really, and even got a bit of a rest at the end for a change.

Dunn - Very similar to the Villa game, pretty quiet, but then involved in two goals.

Carter - Steady but unspectacular, but does get through a lot of box-to-box work.

Savage - In and out of the game, but again more like his old self.

Heskey - Quieter than he has been of late, but got his goals.

Morrison - Did ok and finished his goal well.

SUBS:
Anderton - Involved in the fourth in some way or another.

Gray & Clapham - Only used to rest Heskey and Savage at the death.
