Player Ratings v West Brom

Last updated : 29 October 2006 By Brian Cartlidge
Maik Taylor - Did well when called upon.

Kelly - One slip apart, another good performance.

Taylor
- Lucky with the tackle on Kamara but played well.

Jaidi - Solid.

Sadler - Kept Gera quiet and thats no mean feat.

Johnson - No coincidence that Kelly plays better with him in front of him. Sheer bravery to play on after the horrific collision with Robinson.

Muamba - Superb performance, especially for one so young in such a big game.

Clemence - Excellent.

McSheffrey - Two excellent goals and looked the part when pushed up front for the last 20-odd minutes.

Jerome - Has to improve on his first touch and hold-up play.

Bendtner - Some good moments and linked up well with McSheffrey late on.

Subs:

Larsson (for Jerome, 67) - Some nice touches.

Nafti (for Clemence, 78) - Steady

Danns ( for Muamba, 89) - Not on long enough to warrant a rating.

Subs not used: Doyle, Campbell.
