Birmingham

Taylor
- Generally sound, but some erratic moments with the ball at his feet.

Johnson - Had a wretched first 20 minutes, but improved considerably to turn in an excellent performance.

Clapham - Nothing spectacular, but a steady showing.

Cunningham - Not his most convincing display, but still reasonable. Struggled with Miller on occasions.

Upson - As good as people have come to expect of him, though Iversen was a tough opponent.

Hughes - In and out of the game, and undoubtedly wearing the wrong studs judging by how often he slipped.

Savage - A good return, seemed back to his usual self.

Dunn - Some clever moments, but far too many non-clever moments which are only going to see the team get punished.

Clemence - Tried, but looked lost on the left, and became lazy with his distribution late on.

Dugarry - A mixed performance, but certainly better than earlier in the season. Worrying injury, however.

Forssell - Excellent all-round performance, finished well and was always a threat.

SUBS:

Lazaridis - Couldn't get into the game, looked like someone who needed 30 minutes before making an impression, and only got 15.

John
- Brief appearance.

Subs not used: Bennett, Tebily, Cisse.
