Blues had the lions share of possession and created numerous chances only to leave The Valley with a 2-0 defeat. "We were the best team by far," Bruce said after the game. "For the first time for a year I had my injured players back and I still feel we can get ourselves out of trouble. "We have had our best players out for far too long, but once we get our best side playing together all the time I am confident we will get out of trouble."
"I couldn't have asked for any more from the players but that's how things go sometimes. It was very cruel after we had dominated the game.
