The 1-1 home draw against Spurs see's Blues occupying 13th spot in the Premiership, five points off tenth place with seven games to play.

"We've got seven games to go and we want to finish 10th like we did last year. That's the challenge," Bruce said after the game with Spurs.

Jermaine Pennant returned to the Blues starting line-up for the Spurs game and Bruce is hoping now that all the media attention surrounding the on-loan winger will now die down.

"Everyone's seen Jermaine playing with a tag, now let's let him get on with resurrecting his career.

"A draw was a fair result. Maik Taylor produced two fantastic saves for us and Clinton Morrison could have nicked it for us.

"Overall I'm delighted."
