The 2-1 win at The Madejski Stadium on Sunday saw Blues claim the second automatic promotion spot in the Championship.

"I'm really delighted for everyone at the club," the Blues boss told Sky Sports after the match.

"Last week we wondered if our chance had gone and there were some tired legs out there today.

"Before the match we just asked the lads to play the best game they've played all season.

"Now it is not the time to start talking about what we are going to do in the Premier League. We just need to savour this moment.

"It has been a tough week as I said, but I am absolutely ecstatic and I could not be more pleased for my staff and the players obviously, who have been titanic this season.

"We would have liked to have played prettier football at times but I cannot fault their attitude.

"We at times felt adversity, but we have come through it and it is the measure of our character and experience and I have nothing but high praise for my guys.

"It is a great team."
