Blues twice had to come from behind to become the first away side this season to take maximum points at The Liberty Stadium.

Marcus Bent scored Blues' first equalser, his first goal for the club since his summer move from Charlton and Kevin Phillips once again proved to be the match-winning hero with two goals after coming off the subs bench to replace Quincy 65 minutes into the match with Blues trailing 2-1.

"It was a victory for team spirit and character," the Blues boss said after the game.

"We were a bit ragged at the back and the early goal took the stuffing out of us and allowed Swansea to dictate the game.

"But while we were only one down we were still in the game.

"Kevin Phillips is unbelievable, that's the only word to describe him.

"His finishes were amazing, he makes it look so simple.

"It is not the first time he has come off the bench to win games for us."
